Simple advice, but imperative to understand when trying to lose body fat!
Eating significantly less than your body's required energy output is only going to trick your body into lowering its caloric need.
Simply put: The lower your caloric intake (unhealthy levels lower than ~1400kcals/day) over time, the less calories your body burns. Eating significantly less than your body's required energy output is only going to trick your body into lowering its caloric need (burning LESS calories!). If your body is obtaining the correct nutrients and calories per day, then it becomes a fat burning machine that is HIGHLY efficient in all other quality of life components as well.
Simple tips for fat loss:
-Eat smaller, more nutrient dense meals throughout the day instead of larger "empty calorie" based meals or snacks
-Eat raw veggies to fill you up and give you energy if you're hungry between meals
-Move. Make sure you're getting adequate exercise... even just a walk outside is a great start!
-If you need to lower your caloric intake because you're eating significantly more calories than your body requires, then gradually create the deficit. NEVER cut a significant amount of calories immediately. Weight loss is a process, not an instantaneous reaction to your work.
-You've heard it before, and you'll hear it again. REST. Make sure you are getting adequate amounts of sleep at night. Your body is super efficient when it's well rested... If it's tired, it will compensate. Fat loss is never your body's first option when it is exhausted.
